Include at Least 1 Starchy Food Just over one-third of your diet should consist of starchy foods, which are the main source of carbohydrates the body receives. These can include certain food such as potatoes, bread, rice and pasta. Why not select products with more fibre or wholegrain content, like wholewheat pasta and brown rice?  With each main meal, try to incorporate at least 1 starchy food.
